This is Chindwin College
Metaphorically, if the Ayeyarwaddy represents the main stream general or academic education then the Chindwin, a major tributary represents vocational education and training. Drawing a parallel between rivers and forms of education, in essence, the Chindwin feeds off and nurtures the Ayeyarwaddy at the same time.
Chindwin College aims to produce students who are enthusiastic about life and learning, who are independent thinkers and open to new ideas, who are responsible and self-confident, and who are prepared for the challenges in an increasingly global and borderless world.
Vision
To develop in our students a solid foundation in the knowledge and methods that will prepare them for life-long learning and succeed in today’s competitive global economy.
Mission
Chindwin College aims to empower our students with the requisite skills for their continuous development, education and employment by educating the mind and training the hand.
